I love making something new from something I've found, especially when that something is in the geode family.
So yesterday, while Ramona was at preschool, I finally completed the simplest DIY that I've had the materials to do for weeks; I made magnets out of my little purple agate slices.
This is something I saw a few months ago,
and I'm so glad I remembered to finally get around to making them.
They were so quick and simple to make and they add some serious whimsy and pretty to my kitchen.
(All you need are some pretty rocks, a hot glue gun, and magnets.)
