Early birds.

They say that morning people are typically happier people overall, 

and that makes me wonder if the researchers
have ever met a toddler, or parents of toddlers.

Ramona has been waking up so early lately, 

especially since we started doing our 12 days of Christmas 

(she opens one very little present each day). 

My wide-eyed zombie girl couldn't be more excited about Christmas;

she is really into it for the first time.

I'm loving playing the part, too.
