I was walking with Ramona around the neighborhood yesterday

 in search of every different type of leaf we could find for a little fall art project.

I encouraged her to choose leaves of different colors, shapes, and sizes 

and we spent the rest of the afternoon observing, as well as comparing/contrasting our finds.

Portland is looking especially gorgeous right now; 

all of the warmest colored leaves are falling all around, and we've had the bluest, clearest skies for days.

I'm just loving that I can still go without a jacket in late October.
