A fun, and very wet, day at the zoo.

Ramona has become a regular at the Oregon Zoo over this last year.

She loves to direct us to her favorite exhibits, and actually knows where they are. 

I even get lost and turned around in there!

Her favorite animals this time were the bats ("look, their poo is on the ground!"), the giraffes,

the otters, and the big snakes. 

Mine is, and always is, the lion exhibit. 

They were out and up close when we were there,

I just stare, open-mouthed, in awe. They are such amazing creatures.

I forgot to take a picture I was so mesmerized! 

It was wet and cold.

The most perfect kind of day to visit the Oregon Zoo.
